Ok, i am cranky now...

Vodafail are telling me that they upgraded my handset in July 2011. I'm sorry, wasn't me that they upgraded, they are also saying that I refused a troubleshooting by customer care at this time (as if i'd ever refuse help that i'm trying to ask for).

I am keeping these emails for a rip-roaring complaint!
