ok, i spoke with a tech person... Apparently I have to make my phone 2G for the next 24 hours... had to tell them that i understood that this would mean no internet or anything like that...

Well, four hours later, my blackberry is still receiving emails and facebook is still going "bing" and hell, i even accessed the forum! (so much for "no internet").

don't claim to understand what's going on, but i shall continue the charade that they're putting me through...
