You see your mind, and the more you fall asleep or go deeper into a meditation you not only see it in more detail but you may also hear, smell or be a thought.

Your mind is constantly moving with activity, constantly. Meditation helps you to step back and see it more clearly...it likes to take you in different directions carrying you away like rapids of a river. Sometime I wonder if there is a level of intelligence there, by how creative and manipulative your mind can be in making you believe that you are your mind, or whatever it is presenting to you is important...that you need to follow it.

Meditation helps you to step back, watch it, but not get carried away. Which is useful for controlling fear or telepathy being able to separate your own thoughts from others, or a dialog that’s not yours.
