Last night I found myself lucid dreaming when I suddenly realized that it was a good time to attempt an OBE. The moment I realized this the dream froze (I was an orb of sage smoke in mid flight ) and I made up my decision to get out.

The next moment I became conscience of my physical body lying on my bed. I felt tactile awareness and experienced slight waves of energy going through my body. I was conscience enough to realize that if i move my body now I wont be able to get out. I thought "ill just float up". And kinda like how I do with energy work I willed my energy body to rise. There was such a strange tactile sensation, because unlike normal energy work were my physical body is just feeling the energy, I felt clearly as if my energy body was also feeling my physical body in return, like two hands touching each other.

In one conscience motion my energy body “peeled out” of my physical body, without much effort. I was floating above my body feeling my hands and feet. My body felt light and was full of yin energy. In my mind I exclaimed “so THIS is what its like!!” and I was overcome with joy. In the next moment I realized that i could't see anything. So I tried to will myself sight, but nothing happened. I remember reading on one of these forums that someone would say "sight now" or something like that, so i tried, and nothing happened. There was a slight hint of fear and the thought that maybe I’m not good enough or maybe I’m not ready. And that was enough to send me instantly back into my body.

I quickly got up and committed the details to memory.
