There can be experiences that are so real that you realize, if this is just my mind playing a trick, then all of my waking consciousness is a fantasy as well.

I eventually came to understand that it's all just various forms of illusion, anyway, BUT the bottom line is that just because something is experienced "in your head" doesn't mean it's not valid.
