i read somewhere that robert bruce believes that after we die we'll have full use & control of our subconcious mind, therfore we'll be able to live our dreams and do anything and everything we'd ever wanted to do when we were alive, and keep doing that until we evolve out of desires for materialistic things... ?? or something like that
Because this sounded to me like something so unlike what Robert would say, I looked it up and found this:
One of nature's blessings is that us humans have the ability to forget. Memory fades with time. The memories are still there in the subconscious, but faded and shelved out of the way. This allows us to enjoy life and have new experiences. Without this ability we'd drown in the misery of having every painful experience memory up close and personal all the time. This would cloud our minds and grossly interfere with our ability to enjoy life. The afterlife process is a bit like this, in that eventually all memories fade and we grow into a state of mind that is empty and hungry for more. At this point we let go and do it all again in a different way. Not too scary, aye........ In fact, its quite an exciting thought. Try looking at children as they are exploring their environment; such wide eyed delight and wonder.....priceless.

I also know that Robert has read about the binary soul theory (not sure if he embraces it, though) and has talked about it, in which the author states that upon death the soul and spirit split into the equivalent of conscious mind and subconscious mind, and the subconscious soul continues to create without reason or rhyme the type of situation their psychology and memories would dictate, while the spirit takes the ability to reason with it but no memories or symbolic thinking, and eventually reincarnates (which is why we don't remember our past lives) while the information learned from life remains as part of the akashic records, and the only hope of a person from getting 'off the wheel' is to locate it's twin soul (that is, the part that is the information and memories, you could call it etheric subconscious) and reintegrate with it, then upon this reintegration some sort of control (although I would call it more like understanding) could be imparted to it and then the 'master' level would be achieved, and then reincarnation would not be necessary (but possible).
Is it possible this is what you read that sounded like that?

I don't know if your initial assertion is true, but I don't think so.
Everything I've seen (whether real or not) points me to a very different reality, one in which the things you call "indulging in fantasies" would be of no value to someone who has integrated to enough possible selves to have "seen it, done it" and ready for something else completely.
