I guess my question will seem a bit odd especially considering that I have done +300 OBE so far, but I never managed to get out using Robert Bruce's rope technic although I did get some major sensations.

I don't have that much of a problem going "out" with some other technics of my own, but I am a bit frustrated that the rope tech is the first I learnt and one that I still don't master

My problem is that everything works fine until my astral senses appear halfway through the experience, therefore I see and feel my astral hands obviously moving in the "air", with no rope, and the pulling action stops immediately whatever I do, my mind can't be tricked anymore. What I usually do at this step is to roll on my side and get out this way, otherwise I am pulled back in my body as I am not fully out. But is this supposed to be like this ? Or is there really a way to get fully out of body using only the rope technic, but what to do then when we got astral sight and see that we are holding nothing ? The rolling technic is good but often sends me to close to the "pure" astral, although I prefer to stay a bit more is RTZ before.

Any experience to share ?
