Default first known OBE success!
So, I got up this morning wanting to pose my success and the boards were down! Oh, the agony.

I woke up around 3:30 am after 4+ hours of sleep, and took a while to fall back asleep, maybe an hour. I was pretty tired but my mind was awake. I think this helped. I had been having a dream that I was making a cake with my dad (a very unlikely scenario!) in my grandma's old home who is now deceased. Well, I went back to the dream but the cake was baking in the oven. It was now in an oven in the back room of my childhood home, and I was there peering into the window looking at the cake.

I noticed that the displays of temperature and such had a paper cutout number on one of the digits. Then I thought, "hey, this must be a dream". Then I thought, "maybe I'm OBE, yay!" I opened the oven and stared at the blue gas flame that was below, then stuck my hands over the flame- No burning sensation... Then I stared at the cake and watched it kind of melt to the sides of the walls of the oven. Everything was so clear. This was one of my first lucid dreams. I thought, hey, I want to fly!

So I put my hands out in front of me (though I don't recall seeing hands) and headed for the door to my childhood bedroom. As I passed through the door I felt it and everything. Once I passed through things turned black and white right away and I was looking down at my bed currently. As I passed through the door successfully I was thinking I'd better get back to my body so I remember this. But I told myself "bedroom now!" and found myself hovering high above the bed. It looked like it was far away and fuzzy. For some reason I couldn't remember "back to my body" or something like that... Anyways, I said "clarity now" but it was still in black and white so I started to think "hey I want to stay out longer" and started to do some energy raising but I think I was too close to myself at that point... I started to wiggle my toe and could feel myself moving and heard myself mumble "clarity now". Then a few seconds later I opened my eyes and remembered it all no problem.

So, not too exciting but exciting for me. I'm motivated to try more next time. This phasing OBE seemed a lot easier than trying to OBE without lucid dreaming and actually being lucid was exciting in itself. I never seem to catch that I'm dreaming until I wake up no matter how unlikely the situation.

If I have more success I'll turn this into my OBE/phasing log.
