Default So close!
After halfway thinking lately that I wanted to get serious about AP attempts (again), I had a very near-miss last night.

I did some energy work before going to bed with the goal of cleaning myself out, because I was feeling pretty "bleh" for most of yesterday. What I actually may have done was some inadvertent energy body loosening.

Shortly after laying down to sleep, I found myself conscious, with the upper half of me rising out of my body. I could see, and the room had a bluish glow. After a few seconds of trying to fully exit, there was an effect like a quick screen-wipe that took away the glow, and I found myself laying down again in the darkened room.

I think I was probably too tired to make the most of it; it took a few seconds to comprehend what was happening and another few to figure out what to do about it, especially since its been a long time since I've brushed up on exit techniques.

Possibly worth noting -- I did have vibrations, but it was more like an almost pleasant humming sensation. I've noticed this over the course of my experiences; when I was just starting out, the vibes were very harsh, like a foot falling asleep but over my whole body, with loud roaring sound effects. Now, while spontaneous near-exits have been a lot more rare, when they do happen the vibes are mild, almost as if they've increased in frequency. I wonder if this is an effect of energetic development? In any case my spontaneous exit symptoms have gotten to be months apart, so it was really encouraging to have happen right after I started thinking about pursuing it again.

As an aside, while meditating earlier last night I had some cool spontaneous third eye stuff going on, which was nice because it's rare for me even as I've been trying to open it up more. At one point I had a random thought of water for some reason, and suddenly it "became real" and I was moving over water. It only lasted for a second or two because the shift from my physical surroundings to the water scene kinda made me jump and lose it, lol... but yay. Good things are afoot!
