According to this source, it was meant to take me back or forth in time and that's what i can't get out of my mind right now...

I have encountered the astral wind many times. Only once has it taken me into the future. Most often I end up in an astral classroom.

I don't think it is "meant " to take you anywhere in particular. But, it is usually somewhere important for you to see.
