i don't know much about astral wind and i don't have much experience, but i've only managed to project from one position: comfortably laying on my back in sort of a straight position.. But i've heard of people prefering to project in a lazyboy chair in an upright position, so who knows, it might be possible to make it on a bus seat.

Astral wind, from the research i've done on it, it is a rather rare phenomenon that would be more likely to affect experienced projectors, which means that i just got lucky, if you can call it so...
From this, i could say that these statements, it could be possible that you just had a dream, particularly if you were thinking about that astral wind phenomenon right before you fell asleep, it could explain the reason you've encountered it.

CFTraveler, even though the wind confused me to begin with, it led me to find some info on Akashic Records, do you think it is possible to access it through an astral projection? because i seems as though i am likelier to have an AP rather than an RTZ projection and the rope technique never worked for me before... From the info that i found on it, there only were refs on how to get there through an RTZ, but i would imagine the same concepts would apply to an AP. or is it not as easy as it sounds...?
