Beekeeper, I haven't had a chance to read that book but it looks great. thank you for introducing that author to me.

I live in Northern California, where a large concentration of the fires are, and while the fires are small, there are so many of them that a dull brown blanket of smoke covers the surrounding mountains, at the best times, and fills the valley I live in, at the worst times. All day long, the sky is dull brown, bleak and depressing.

In my projection, the conversation never talked about fires, and in my wildest imagination, i doubt i could have imagined that california would have over 800 fires spring up in one weekend, or that they could color the sky that way. nevertheless, the physical sky looks exactly the same as the sky in my projection.
