i became lucid in a dream this morning, so i first thought "i wanna sit on a cloud"
whispy clouds started to form around me,then i was sitting crossed legged on a cloud - nice!
then i thought to phase back to my body, and exit from there.
the cloud disappeared, i was in greyness, back with my body.
i felt myself start to fall down and backwards, so i relaxed and let it happen, keeping my excitement in check
(this has been a problem for me in the past)

i found myself in a large supermarket.
in front of me were a bunch of old people, gathered round or sitting behind some tables.
they were having a small sale of household goods - dishware and kitchen stuff.
all nicely patterned in floral designs, some looking quite Japanese in style
(i think my interest in Japanese tattoos was involved there)
i knew that i wanted to try to locate my ex-girlfriend, but i also realised there might be something for me to notice here, so i looked around a bit.
as i walked around the tables, looking at the goods, i decided to try a few things out..
first, i squeezed a womans breast! hehe,she didn't reall respond, but i recieved a feeling from her which kinda said "oh come on now!"
sheepishly i walked away from the tables, over to where there were lots of refrigerators standing.
i wanted to see if my hands would go thru them so i shoved one, and it felt solid, i nearly pushed it over.
it looked like a fridge but was actually made of plastic and was very lightweight.
i inspected a few more, which had very interesting two-way opening devices.
like they had a secret compartment or something.

i soon realised there was nothing i could see of real significance, so i continued with my intended mission.
i looked into the distance (this was a BIG supermarket), and decided to go to Karen's house.
i started to walk, then thought "i don't have to walk", so i started to "ice skate" along, floating a centimetre from the ground.
then i thought "wait, i can fly if i want!"
so immediately i took a step, put my arms in front superman style and flew!
the scenery blurred until i landed on a familiar street.
i was sure it was the right street, followed it round the corner, to the house.
the house looked wrong however - different door.
as i approached the door i saw thru the glass someone coming out.
as she came out i recognised who it was - Nikki, my first ever girlfriend, from high school.
i let her leave, and stuck my head in the door.
i could see three people, one of whom had curly hair - like Karen, who i was looking for.
the curly haired woman came over to me, but i could see it wasn't Karen, so i left, closing the door.
i caught up with Nikki in the street, saying "hi Nikki, you were my first girlfriend"
we kissed for a minute, then laughed about how we used to hang out on the shore and kiss when we were young.
i said it was nice to see her, then realised what i had done wrong.

i knew that i was in Scotland and had to get to Amsterdam to find Karen.
everything blurred for a second, in which i remembered Karen's address.
a door appeared before me, but things went a little blurry, so i told myself "i will remember every detail of this when i wake up"
i went up to the door, and found a plaque/info board beside it.
the door wasn't attached to a wall.it was just there, with the plaque floating beside it, as if it was stuck to an invisible wall.
behind i could see clouds.

i looked at the writing on the plaque, but most of it was in Dutch.
i lloked at it and saw at the bottom the owner's name -
IT WAS MY NAME!!
i thought this had to be the right place, so went to ring the doorbell.
there was none.
nonetheless, i poked at the space beside the door, picturing Karen's doorbell in my mind, and i heard the bell ring inside.
as i pulled my finger back, a little doorbell button appeared.
i heard a window open upstairs, so i took a step back to see if it was her.
i looked up, but the window opened the wrong way.
the hinge was on the bottom, so the top of the window opened outwards.
there was a girl leaning out, but she was facing upwards too, with her back to me.

i then felt it was time to return to my body, and i opened my eyes and wrote this all down.
that was one hour ago!!
