  • This is quite common. It happens to me at moments of intense joy and when something spiritually profound has just happened or occurred to me.

    It is definitely describable as a shiver, though it is much deeper than that.

    As best I can tell it has three purposes:

    1. To wake you up and make you more aware of what is happening.
    2. To strengthen and reaffirm the connection of your divine spirit to your physical body.
    3. The shiver is acting like a trigger or physical tick, which coincides with a "recording" of the moment on your permanent energy field.
