Its interesting what you say about hearing music. I remember (again as a boy) on long car journeys I would lay down in the back of the car and focus on music. After a while of focus I could actualy hear the music in my head. This is a very distant memory; strange how i should recall it now. I will try meditation on the noise and see what happens. Are you saying the noise indicates that the mind is in the right state for OBE? - thanks CFT.
