No, trying to justify laws outlawing ordinary wild plants and other natural substances is what's given drugs a bad name. The largest difference between tobacco/alcohol/caffeine, and various illegal drugs, is that the former were enjoyed by a significant proportion of white men at the time the drug-outlawing craze swept over the world. Nothing more.
