Ah, they must have changed something in the Matrix.

I haven't been able to recreate it in-body again, though. I guess I couldn't resynchronize my blinking just right.

I think this happens to me pretty regularly. I have always had a sort of sense of time/space being disconnected with/from myself, and I've always had these odd little "blips" of reality, where stuff is there and then it isn't or vice versa, or I "see" something that happened a couple minutes ago or is about to happen, stuff like that. Or I put something down and I'm POSITIVE of where I put it and I turn around and it's gone, but then it magically reappears near the place where I put it down or somewhere else entirely...

SOME of that can be attributed to "senior moments" at this stage of my life, but I've had this stuff happen to me regularly since I was a kid.

To be honest, I never really thought about this. My mother had this phenomenon happen to her all the time and I just sort of thought it was normal to have reality randomly rearrange itself. That is, I thought the events were normal, though I didn't really know what it was about or what caused it, etc.

Now that I think about it, most people don't have this happen to them, or they're not aware of it. I never recall my father experiencing this phenomenon, and I'm pretty sure my husband is unaware of it (it does happen to him, but he "explains" it in various ways).
