From what I understand, anything that sucks energy out of you for their own gain is a lower life form. An Incubus. But it's a bit bizarre to have one discuss things with you and drag you around...to a place it would have you assume is where it's "from"...I just didn't think they could be very intelligent.
Then again, I DID have one take the form of Bruce Willis to seduce me in a lucid dream...I can't think of any particular reason it would be Bruce Willis as I'm not particularly attracted to him. That alone leads me to believe that they might be smarter than we think. Perhaps perusing some peoples' minds for what's attractive and what's not and choosing that form because it works with a majority of the people it had been feeding on?
But I sure as hell didn't get taken on any lovely trips or adventures. Maybe mine was just lazy. Or thought I was a cheap date...
