My 'monkeys' shapeshifted before my eyes, so if they're the same kind of critter your 'succubus' could have been the same type. They are smart and they are the closest thing to devious I have seen. Mine wanted emotion from me, so it's possible that your 'succubus' was really one of those. Or they work together.
