I had a rather strange projection the other night, in it I was in this place that had a shiny floor and blackness everywhere (in itsself odd to me), when suddenly I was grabbed from behind, it was rather uncomfortable as it wouldn't let me move, I could grab onto its arms and struggle but my hand would phase through its when I tried to pull them away.
so I brought myself back to my bed but didn't leave the meditative state (I can normally do this this 2 or 3 times before I loose it), but when I tried to project again there was something standing on my chest, not on my physical, it was only when I tried to move.
Just a thought that you may want to think back over the experiences for details. For example, when grabbed from behind, do you think the thing was your size? Smaller? Larger? Was it broader than you? Was it like a pair of hands that grabbed you or more like a bear hug holding you?
The 'something' standing on your chest - was it human? 4 legs or 2? Heavy or just a presence?

You could try, while thinking over the experiences, re-writing the actions so that you do things other than what occurred. Then if it happens again, you will have a new pattern to run. eg. When the thing grabs you from behind, charge up your shield & use it to push the thing away so you can move. Or perhaps, flip forward in a somersault to fling it over your head & break the hold.
Not knowing the exact situation it isn't easy to work out what would work best for you, but think it through, then re-run the experience in memory with the new actions in it. Do it a few times & if the situation comes again, you will have an auto-response waiting to use.
