...as i was floating out the first time i suddenly got pushed to the ground very fast by something and i felt myself being totally pinned like something was holding my arms legs head and torso to the floor with tremendous force i got scared and my OBE stopped and i returned to my body.

This is when it really got interesting.. as i returned to my body i felt myself project again almost the minute i returned to my body, feeling a massive amount of fear all around me (most probably the dweller on the threshold type thing) and with my eyes still being closed (because i though that as soon as i projected i would be able to see..) i thought back to what Robert had said about the fear subsiding the further away from your body you get, so i thought ok ill try this flying thing, so still being as blind as a bat i flew off as approx 45deg angle as fast as i could to get away from this fear. What I think happened to you is that you switched between the etheric double and your physical body that was in a state of sleep paralysis or that it was some type of brief astral feedback because the two bodies were in telepathic communication.

It seems to me you were able to see as a direct result of moving away from fear. I feel your blindness may have been something of a psychological response. Astral blindness or vision distortion happens to skilled projectors from time to time (and, no, I don't consider myself particularly skilled) so I wouldn't put it down to marijuana use necessarily, though I'm glad to hear you're kicking the habit. People put blind OBEs down to low energy and I think that's feasible. I think that can happen if you're a bit run down or using medications (I know my ten year old had a blind one when he had some dimetapp before bed.) I also think it happens if you've already projected just previously but failed to download the memory.
