Hello. I will try and be as brief as possible as to not put anyone to sleep.

Since as far back as I can remember I would wake up with my head buzzing, my body humming, felt like someone was trying to squeeze my head. There were times when I would wake up in the middle of the night and my lower body would have such a tingling feeling radiating from my lower spine as though every nerve ending was exposed and being stimulated. I would not move because the over stimulation was too hard to take. The strobe light effect felt like a bomb going off in my head and all the loud noises and pulling on my body made it so hard to wake myself out of it. Sometimes I would roll over and it would all start over 2 or 3 more times until I got up and walked around.

This happened occasionally until 2 years ago. Its getting worse, 3 or 4 nights a week now its happening as I start to fall asleep or right after I do. It scares the crap out of me and I'm waking up alot more after a nights sleep with my body strumming. Feels like I'm going to buzz right off the bed, but when I look at my arms they aren't moving.

I've read the book and I know I'm not crazy, but I need some help. This has got to stop. It's affecting my rest. I'm scared to fall asleep, afraid one of these times I wont be able to fight it.
If you've read the book (I'm guessing you're talking about Astral Dynamics) I guess you've figured out that you are waking up with exit sensations. The question is, why are you scared to fall asleep? OBE is as natural as dreaming, so having fear will do nothing but make it worse.

I had a first 3 night ago which is prompting me to post here. I was still partially awake as I could hear the noise in the other room, and then all of the sudden I was shooting thru a tunnel with swirling colored lights. I just knew I was dying and I was freaking out and I could not wake up out of this one. The speed and intensity I was going thru that tunnel make my head pound, and then all of the sudden I saw a bright light and I swear, this is crazy, it sucked me back almost instantaneously and I was awake. If you think this is crazy you're in the wrong forum! It's obviously an unwanted OBE, and the rest of your post is giving me a clue as to why it's happening.
I am not actively attempting OBE's, doing any energy work or anything else that would facilitate these experiences. I'm just a hard working person who is exhausted from no rest. This right here is your problem.

I've started dreaming while I'm awake at work . This tells me you need to get a whole lot more sleep, since one of the only surefire ways to start having unwanted OBEs and to start hallucinating is to go a few days without sleeping.

People will be talking to me and I will be talking back to them and next thing u know I'm having a visual dream right in the middle of the conversation making my responses embarrassing and inappropriate. Yes, these are signs of exhaustion.

Is there a way to turn this off? I want a normal nights sleep without anything scary happening. I could go on and on about the bizarre things I have had happen in the last 2 years while I try to sleep but I just want it to stop. I really feel like one of these times I'm not going to wake up
Any suggestions? I have some but they may not be what you are expecting.
First of all, you need to familiarize yourself with what happens when you have an OBE. Realize that this happens to everyone, the difference is that most people are asleep when they project, and thus miss the symptoms that are an indication of a shift of consciousness, possibly a shift of brainwaves going from 'almost asleep' to 'asleep'.
These vibes, sounds, etc. are not symptoms of anything wrong, other than the fact that you are awake and aware when you have them, and that is freaking you out and causing a vicious circle to happen.
It is obvious to me that you are having uncontrolled OBEs. The question is, what is it about you that is imposing this experience on yourself? It could be sleep habit problems (not going to sleep, not relaxing enough before trying to go to sleep) or your subconscious is trying to show you something that you don't want to see. I am not qualified to tell you which of these is true (physiological vs. psychological) but the fact is that your nervousness about going to sleep is what's keeping you awake and experiencing, and the only thing I can tell you is that you need to relax into it, accept the experience if you can, and try to get as much sleep as possible. Think of it as a weird nightmare that will only get worse the less you sleep.
Some people are what some call 'natural projectors', which in my book means you stay awake when your body falls asleep. It can be a fun experience or a scary experience, but the more fear you attach to it the more it'll affect you, and it's like a vicious circle.
If I were having the experiences you mention, I would start doing energy work, because it gives you greater control of the experience, because in my opinion fear is worse when you can't control an experience.

Other than that, try to get as much sleep as possible, so that you stop having the daytime hallucinations, because those can land you somewhere else.

I hope this is somewhat helpful.
