IMO, they're all astral projection.
OBE means you have a discernible exit and 'go' somewhere,
phasing is when you have a vision screen and get 'sucked' into it (which sounds a lot like what you did)
and remote viewing is when you have physical body awareness and just 'see' somewhere else.
They're all really cases of classifying how you experience the same phenomenon, with possibly different locations or focuses of consciousness.
