one: people are born with extra fingers & toes - six on each is not all that unusual.

two: somehow, somewhen, someone made the basic measurements of the world based around 6 & 12, not 5 & 10. we know from metric that 10 makes a lot more sense. Yet somehow, we got stuck with 12 inches in a foot etc., 360Âº in a circle, 60 minutes, 60 seconds etc. furlongs, fathoms, 12 star signs - the list goes on & on.

Does anyone else wonder if those who invented our measurements may have had 6 fingers & toes?
