For a while, when having back problems, I was using one of those satin eye-shields you see on tv heiresses use to sleep.

because half of my sleeping was done on a recliner in the morning. I projected just as much, and even though I had some blind projections they were about par with the amount without blindfold.
I have heard everything from don't use jewelry to project naked, but IMO what's important is what's comfortable to you. If you're going to be cold, covers are necessary to stay comfy. Jewelry has never stopped me, but then again, I don't believe it will, and I think that's the important part.
