When I was reading this I thought I had read this before, but a long time ago (not just last month.) Did you post this somewhere else before?
The first part sounded to me like a lucid dream, but it's possible that you did some remote viewing from the point of view of the bug- I don't really have any answers really, just the strange feeling of deja vu about this post.
