Okay, so I've got his vision screen up and going, and I've just now been able to confirm it's working properly. It flashes pictures at me, for a split second, and I write down what it showed me. So far the pictures it shows me do turn up in real life, but here's the deal: It's just not like described in the books.

First off, I'm not seeing a big white square, like a movie screen, where the pictures are shown. Instead, they're floating around suspended in blackness. And second, I can't sit there and watch it roll like a movie. It seems to be just a flash, only a second, or a few seconds.

Of course, this is just now kicking in, so maybe in some time it will straighten out and the pictures will last longer? I think it may be partly my fault, because when I see one it startles the hell out of me, and then I can't relax and just watch.
