The other morning I woke up and felt very strange...I felt like it was me yet not me in control of my body...It was almost like dual awareness I guess

My mind was fully concious but very fuzzy and slow and my body was just kind of there...like a shell
Several times I touched my body and I could feel it but it still didn't feel like me...almost a far away feeling. I tried several different movements but it was almost like my body was fighting me. I have never had this before although I have had waking paralysis before but this was quite scary
I would say it lasted a good 5-10 minutes until I was able to fall asleep again.
It almost seemed like someone else was in control of me, yet I know there wasn't another presence there...
I guess I am wondering if this could this have been a type of waking paralysis or something else and why it lasted so long?
