Skeptical about the "RTZ"
I WILD occasionally whenever I'm up for the task of doing so early in the morning.
When I first got into lucid dreaming, I learned about astral projection. And being that I could induce sleep paralysis pretty easily in the mornings - I could WILD or have an OBE. At the time I thought there was a distinct difference between the two. I thought when trying to achieve an OBE, I had to "roll out" of my body, whereas WILDing, I would just have to sit and wait in sleep paralysis for a dream scape to form. OBEs interested me much more, so I quickly learned the "roll-out" technique. At first, my experiences were *very* realistic. I was convinced of another plane of existence.
As time passed, my experiences became more and more dreamlike. No longer was I interested in staying in room. I would immediately go outside, and begin my lucid adventure there. No longer did those seem like OBEs. I pretty much resorted to lucid dreaming after the initial shock of having a few OBEs passed.
Now however, I want to have some experiences like the first few I had. But every time I try, I end up having some sort of dream-like experience. Don't get me wrong, those are interesting, but I want to validate this for myself once and for all.
So I'm having a lot of trouble getting back to this "RTZ" - and am beginning to question weather or not it really exists other than inside of my mind, and the reason for this is, in the beginning, I really, really wanted to have OBEs. Now I almost really don't care if I have them or not anymore. So I could see my subconscious playing a part in granting me some experiences.
I know they happen spontaneously, but there must be some sort of way to make them occur more frequently?
1 year and 3 days from my first conscious induced OBE
