As pointed out earlier, I had associated it with myopia but then after lasik surgery, realised there had to be something else going on. A number of posters have referred to short-term or occasional events, but it's 24/7 & only distractions take them out of conscious notice.

Energy is something I've considered for quite some time but I can't find a way to make use of it... Most annoying if that's what it is.
