I was the same - I got interested again when I had Lasik eye surgery & realised it wasn't to do with being shortsighted. Then through lack of info the interest faded again until I started thinking seriously about the astral & somebody wrote about seeing energy. It opened a new perspective on what I was seeing, because it IS like I'm seeing the energy field of literally everything.

If string theory 7 quantum theory have a close correspondence to reality, then it is likely there is an Ether, in spite of Einstein; if that is so, then maybe we see the ether?

But in all this, I guess what is most frustrating is not having any way to actually use what I'm seeing. Most annoying & another subject to smack my higher self with if he ever deigns to show up...
