I read only the first few posts...

JMan, I get the sparks you speak of too, eyes open or closed (mine are mostly white/silver, although sometimes they do look like a tiny pixel of a snowy TV screen). I also get the swirly dots when looking at the sky, but I think those are different than the sparks.

After a year of pondering these damn things and careful observation, it seems to be some sort of indicator of when a thought connection is made between myself and someone else. I noticed that most often, after stuff I have written or said to someone repeats through my head, I get a little light show.

I have experimented with this with my pms to a good friend, and every time he has read what I have written and the text is repeated in my mind, I get the sparks (white/silver, always midrange left side). They do not happen BEFORE he has read it, only after. This also happens when I go over previous IM conversations he and I have had. I strongly feel it is some sort of indication of a connection taking place.

Another friend, Rayson, shows up as a large, light blue sparkle on my left side, lol. When he is connecting with me (or an aspect of him, maybe his HS), I see these larger blue sparks. I also get these with the other friend when he is intentionally connecting with me.

I would suggest to pay attention to your other senses when these sparks happen. Is a passing thought running through your mind about a post you made on the forum or a previous conversation you have had with someone? I noticed the sparks happen A LOT after several people have read something I have written. Weird...

Funny thing - when I feel a presence about and hear a negative comment in my mind, instead of a white/silver spark, I'll sometimes see a black spark - time to bust out with the countermeasures in those cases.

When I shift my eyes, they remain stationary. When I go to bed at night and thoughts are drifting into my mind at a fast pace, they can look like little miniature fireworks.

The best thing I can suggest is to pay attention to your other senses, thoughts, feelings when these sparks appear and then try to see if there is some sort of pattern to these sparks. It might be different for you, I dunno.
