Yes, I've seen the grid more than a few times, and from several different angles. Once, looking straight down, so the squares were square. Other times, it's been from an angle. It kind of reminds of the beginning of Star Wars, when you see the print getting smaller as it moves away from you. But, the grid wasn't moving, it just was angular and smaller the farther away that it was. I haven't seen the center lotus flowers that Robert described. The most amazing thing to me is not that I've seen the grid, but that I saw it before I ever heard about it. I remember thinking, "What's up with all the lines in space?"

When I saw the back cover of AD, I was blown away. It looked just like that, even the color of the background.
