I get the vision screen often and get sucked in (but I like it) and never have had the temperature effects. It has been disorienting and the first time slightly nauseus, but you get used to it (as everything.) Is it possible that it was available to you because you were coming down with something?
Just last night I had it open up, and all of a sudden I was looking at a scene that looked like New Orleans in maybe the 60s. I went in and was talking to a big black man, with a trumpet. It didn't last long, I was back to my own space, then went in a few more times and I just lost it and clicked out.
I like your analogy of the akashic as astral google.
Maybe we should make it official.
Akashic records=astral google. Now if we can all get equal access we'll have it made.
