The part about the ball showing you the book reminded me of someones experience i've read somewhere else, i'm thinking it was in one of Robert Monroes books, where hands would appear before him holding a book while he was in trance but he would lose interest and decide to fly off into the sky instead of reading. Those are definately some interesting experiences.
