AC- it was actually me you replied to, somewhere in a post around here. I think the questions were even more basic though... I think the phrase itself was more what is in question, more so than techniques. The words "open in protection" just don't come together for me in a way that says "ahhh!- I know what she means to do"

I'll take a stab that they mean connect to the relevant energy, or allow yourself to be able to connect, while also making sure you are safe and guarded from unwanted energy. But that's just a guess.

Could you dumb it down for me a bit more, and just state the most basic meaning of what this is?
I just like to be on the same page as someone when I read their posts, so that even if I have my own way of doing whatever, I don't make assumptions about their way and intents.
