I have a friend who says she was saved from being totalled by a truck because she heard a distinct voice tell her not to move, despite the light having changed green.

CF, what's the old wive's tale? I haven't heard it. As children we often ran inside because we thought our mum was calling when she wasn't.

As an adult, if I left my babies home with their dad and went out to get something, I would hear crying and know they'd awakened. On another site, a woman posted that she knew she was pregnant when she'd start hearing babies cry.
