This is an interesting topic as some of it applies to me also.

When I was younger I could hear my name being called and it used to wake me up in the mornings. It sounded like it was my Mom or my Dads voice. I often asked if they had called me, but they just said that it must have been a dream.

I also sometimes hear music that wakes me up, only to discover that the same music is on the radio when I turn it on.
