Antoll, I have been trying for the last year solidly, so 6 out of 180 days of the year isn't much. What usually ends up happening is that I just fall asleep. Not to mention at least 8 - 9 years ago I tried solidly for a year. I think the biggest thing that helped me was some of the visualization techniques that Robert mentions, about body awareness.

I'm not a very healthy person, I eat too much, drink too much, don't get enough exercise. And no I haven't done any energy work. I have Astral Dynamics, but haven't gotten too far into it. I am sure if I change my habits and start exercising it would help. But I was looking for an easy answer I guess.

As far as disturbances there are none, ocasionally the dogs bark if like an acorn hits the roof and bounces on the driveway, but other than that nothing.

I have an analogy to decribe getting snapped back by looking or shifting my sight. Imagine driving a really top heavy, or high center of gravity suv or something about 80 miles an hour in a straight line, now jerk the wheel suddenly to one side, boom. When I twist my head too fast I seem to return. Or in that one instance anyways.
