I also remember strange 'expanding' sensations as a kid.

Whilst laying in bed I would feel as if parts of my body were much much bigger than they really were, a feeling of nausea and hearing/feeling a 'sound' (not a sound really, more like a vibration I guess) of marching.

Its very difficult to describe

this is the way I remember it... not really a sound of men marching, more like a throbbing inside my head.
