Indeed, due to the mind split effect. It happened to me recently. I was getting out of my body early in the morning, already half separated, when my consciousness was sucked back in my physical body all of a sudden because my ear was itching. But I did not felt the usual reentry process, I was just back in my body suddenly. I immediately tried to get out again as I was in a fairly deep transe, but I could only get my astral sight active. I then saw a ghostly figure a few meters from my bed, like vaporous milk, moving towards me. I freaked out a bit but soon he was almost touching me. At the moment of contact I felt the usual reentry sensations and my consciousness flickered back and forth between my astral double and my physical body. Unfortunately I did not get the memory of the astral double, only last few seconds.
