The moon is critical for me, looking back on my journals it is most likely that I will get out around the begining and half way through the month coinciding with full and new moons. Usually a day or so before I have lucid dreams and then I can get out. I know it is time because when I shut my eyes I see lots of electrial activity type patterns. I am a gemini, moon in Libra.
