Very interesting thread this, especially since "Workinprogress" seems to have exactly the same experience as i am encountering.

Seeing the sky blue color around the head of people, i´v experienced this while looking at persons with different hair color, different race and clothing. And this happens almost instantly for me, inside a few seconds.
Around the body of the person the colors vary, but often a bright whiteish color.

I´v written off the after image theory since it takes such a short while too see theese colors. Though once i set my mind to it, it does take me a while to not see the colors any more. Guess it will just take some time getting used to.
