Yeah thats the same problem I have. It is not just relaxing. There is more to it. The problem I find is that most people think the trance state is a relaxed mind or meditation, which it is not.

When I first set out to produce trance I turned to hypnosis, and this helped a lot. I now have a system of counting to 10, each step consisting of actions which produce a deeper level of trance.
At 10, I'm in a light/medium trance, and from there I can use other techniques to deepen it.
Counting to ten is a trigger for a learnt response developed over years of enforcement (it's based upon Monroe’s induction to F10).
I'll look in to the Monro induction technique, I didn't know there was one, do you have a link for it if it is on the web? Also, can you share the system you developed with us? I'd (and probaly everyone else) would be really greatful.

What techniques do you use while counting to 10 to induce the light/meduim trance and what techniques do you use to deepen them? There isn't alot of resources that I have found out there that go over that kind of thing. Hi emcmattm,

I'll start writing it down and post it. I haven't had much time recently to do it due to starting a new job
