The head is actually absolutely chockers with energy centres .

The brow centre is an area that crosses the entire forehead and is shaped like an ellipse or an eye stretching horizontally . Within this is a centre core which is also elliptical this one is vertical like the pupil in a dragons eye . Around this is a circular structure called the wheel of life and many tiny epicentres of energy ring the perimeter . The Third eye is the core of this elaborate structure extending from the back of the skull through the pituitary gland to the centre of the forehead above the physical eyes .

Now to either side of the third eye there are another pair of cores these are as horns the nose and the 2 ears are similar sized cores of energy .

Below the nose and ears is the complex mouth , throat chakra and tan tien with another wheel of life .

Above the third eye wheel of life there is the kanda in the centre of the scalp this is another place for kundalini to erupt from and descend into .
Now on the top of the head there are two more horn places these are as antennae but are equal in size to the ones on the face about the size of a large sink plug .

Two more of these cores will appear eventually on the back of the third eye to either side of it and two more on either side of the head above the ears .All of these cores will bring in and send out energy .

The third eye will continue to develop becoming multifaceted . Dragon eyes manifest on either side of the third eye and these extend as orbs away from the head . They are jeweled spheres coloured hermetically .In hemisphere styled globes they are half topaz on top on the right and on the bottom half sapphire . On the left these are half emerald on top and half ruby below .

The third eye is nested protected shielded and encrusted . It is open in successive subsequent layers called veils which may be felt to be ripped asunder during some alchemical stages and in others gently lifted or parted . I suspect like the kundalini that the eye continues to develop infinitely and eternally and is not ever perfected as a live human .

Daily practice opening in protection and sitting in the dark is the best way to begin . Look to the aura of your own hand after you have said your prayers and before you go to sleep . Look also at those around you and your toes . Notice that the energy around the fingers is like a flaming light but now try to look into the finger itself . The color is strongest on the palm . The back of the hand is the weakest . The fingers themselves lack colour in the beginning magician . An adept will have colour to the top of each digit and the colours of the fingers will be hermetically visible as earth air fire water and the thumb and hidden thumb will complement whatever stage the magician is currently in .
