That does bring up an interesting point. Here's how I would envision it.

One person who would be going there first would go and set up the environment and affirm their intention to meet with the other entity. If the Astral is indeed independent of time, then #1 should meet #2 there. #2 would then go later and experience the same meeting.

But, if this actually worked this way, #1 would have memory of events that haven't 'happened' yet for #2, which would seem to violate free will.

I think I read somewhere that the Astral is independent of space but not time, so maybe you would have to go to the Mental to do something like this, which would probably be impractical.

So, it would probably be best to sync times, if for no other reason than to lessen confusion.
