I've always noticed a decrease in the vividness of my dreams - after sex or masturbation or such. A couple of summers back, when I first got into my whole spirituality thing, sex/masturbation went out the window. I would go at it for a week apart at times, (at the time that was a good long while for me, being a pretty hormonal teenager and all) and I noticed a huge huge huge incrase in dreams, esp powers, and just about everything under the sun. So for me it has always decreased from spiritual experience all around.

That is not trying to condemn it though, it is still a part of life and I think a good balance is the best way to go.
