Something i'm interested in (which perhaps ties in with CF and Sashs posts) regards sexual drive and paranormal experiences.
I know that more than a few well known and respected occultists (for want of a better word) had very high sex drives. Is there a link between higher desire for sex and an increased frquency of paranormal/spiritual experience?

To be honest, I have a very high sex drive, and many of my first conscious undertakings in spiritual areas (meditation, energy work, trance, scrying, consious OBEs) sparked very sexual feelings in me.
I haven't noticed it be detrimental in any way either. At one point in my life where I was a practicing Christian I tried abstaining from masturbation, I think I lasted about 4-5 days. I didn't give in due to desire for sexual release, it was more my mind felt increasingly 'unhinged'(!). I had to have sexual release to function 'normally'. perhaps this does show an increase in energy which had to be released?
