Just to share. I've had dreams like yours.

Most recently: I am sitting in an audience listening to an expert on astral projection. A girlfriend and her husband are in the row in front of me and my hubby to my right. Suddenly, the speaker stops looks at me and makes his way to just in front of me.

My girlfriend's looking back at me all in awe. The speaker says, "Hmm, let me help you with that" and puts a hand on my head and right shoulder. My skepticism kicks in, but then I think well my beautiful 24 year old friend is right under his nose....

Then the vibrations start big time in the dream. He says, "There you go Shining One" and I'm suddenly awake and absolutely buzzing. But, alas, no projection.
