Creating balls of energy is fun, meeting oob is fun too, however, I'm thinking of doing things more on the line of physical application and practicality.

In working with voyagers at the Monroe Institute, we did a lot of playing, and they still do in respect to such things.

An understanding that they employ, is that time is not a factor, but more a frequency. So time is frequency. Therefore, going oob at exactly the same time GMT, becomes extremely flexible and a non issue. For instance,
We could say, I'll meet you at x location, Friday night at 8:30pm GMT +1. You really don't have to go OOB at that time. Instead, you can have the intention of ending up at the meeting point and leave on Monday or Tuesday, or even Saturday, following the 'event', as all time = frequency exists everchanging & now.
